WRITTEN & ILLUSTRATED BY CYNTHIA CENTERBAR
"Can you believe it? I was on TV!"

Cynthia Centerbar is a grandmother, author, and illustrator. Praised by Readers' Favorite as a “gentle and engaging” storyteller, her picture books are inspired by memorable childhood moments. —Like her debut title, THANK YOU PINE STREET, a celebration of preschool and its messy art, first friendships, and meaningful classroom lessons.
Cynthia’s creative journey began when she picked up illustration during the isolating days of the pandemic — discovering a new passion that soon grew into a second career. Her artwork has since been exhibited at the Worcester Art Museum and the Briarwood Gallery. She frequently delights audiences with character readings of her stories at bookstores, libraries, and schools.

“Creating little books is my joy. — It's how I stay focused on the child’s hopeful view of the world."
Cynthia continues to write and illustrate from her Massachusetts home — crafting "read it again" books that encourage curiosity, nurture empathy, and prepare kids for life’s big moments.
